The June 2019 meeting of the Keytesville Chamber of Commerce met at the Café at noon on Monday, June 17. 2019. Members in attendance were President Carla Watts, Nancy Coy, Susan Creason, Larry Pollard, Janet Weaver, Laurinda Littleton, Wendy Huntsman, Rick Jones, Nathan and Michelle Asbury, and Clayton Enyeart.

President Watts called the meeting to order and asked for a motion for the secretary’s minutes to be approved. Nancy moved the secretary’s minutes be approved with Laurinda seconding that motion. All members present voted favorably.

The Treasurer’s report was presented by Treasurer Nancy stating the current balance of $6788.73. Carla asked for a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Clayton made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report with Rick seconding. All members voted favorably.

Under old business, this year’s winner of the Sally Hubbard walk was Cammie Benson. The average number of participants for the walk was 21 people per day. The annual Bridge Street Affair will be held this coming Saturday, June 22nd and vendors are asked to have their booths set up by 8:00 a.m. The Bridge Street Affair activities will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the steak dinner and live music by the Highway 11 Band at 7:00 p.m.

Under new business, this month’s free meal recipient is Neidholdt Plumbing and Excavating LLC and the business of the month is Cuddle Critter Raggies. Discussion was made among members and Cameron Byrd was chosen for Volunteer of the Quarter. Laurinda made the motion and Nathan seconded it.

The date for the next Chamber meeting was set for Monday July 15. Laurinda made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Wendy seconded it. All members presented voted favorably.
